The Lumberjack is one of the first production buildings in every city and supplies wood logs, the base material for almost every construction phase.

Yield and Attributes

Citizens working at the Lumberjack gather wood logs from the map. How much comes out in the end mainly depends on the character's strength. The job also increases strength and vitality, at the cost of a little dexterity and intelligence.

Dependence on the Map

The job relies on tile resources and only works if your city has occupied map tiles with wood logs. If those tiles are depleted or none are occupied, the job cannot be started, or is limited to the amount actually still available on the map.

Why Upgrading Pays Off

Every level of the Lumberjack increases the productivity factor and therefore the amount of wood logs gathered per work hour. Without enough wood logs, the Sawmill and every larger construction project quickly stall.
