The Charcoal Burner burns wood logs into charcoal. Charcoal is needed for heating: as soon as it gets cold outside, the city uses up charcoal every night.
Processing and Attributes
One wood log yields five charcoal. Working at the kiln builds strength but costs vitality. Strength rises from the work, vitality drops slightly.
How Much Charcoal the City Needs
The demand depends on three things: the number of citizens, the cold and the size of the city. It is calculated from the temperatures of the last 24 hours. Nothing is heated above 15 degrees outside. The more buildings are upgraded, the more rooms must be kept warm.
If charcoal runs out, the city's heating status drops. A low heating status slows the nightly recovery of health, mana and stamina, just like a low nutritional status.
