Baking is mainly determined by the character's dexterity. Flour is consumed, bread is produced. Dexterity rises from the work, vitality drops slightly.
Why Upgrading Pays Off
A higher productivity factor means both more flour consumed and more bread produced per work hour, the ratio between input and output stays nearly the same. Bread is part of the full meal at the Tavern, which together with meat and vegetables yields especially many food rations.
